Abaculus

On Friday I got hit by Nee Naw, only the winner of the 2005 Best New Medical Blog. I am not worthy.

I didn't discover from my statistics, but innocently I was catching up with my feeds on my aggregator yesterday, and wondered what on earth my name doing in an ambulance post. Actually I forgot it was an ambulance feed at first, and assumed someone was slagging me off in other quarters. I've had a few extra visitors, well more than a few, which is was like eeek, there is nothing here and suddenly I become more ashamed of my blog. Subject matter: pointless things, such as a hamster, cats, and the insanity of my family.

To new visitors, welcome to the most boring blog on the net. I'm happy to report that mum is better thanks, and has a doctors appointment this week. Hopefully there will be no need to call out an ambulance for a while. With my aging parents, I'm not confident that this will be the last time an ambulance will need to be called (mum has needed one three times within the past 12 months), and one can only wonder what kind of a lottery gets served next time. I will try and pen an official complaint, and post an update.
