Need to play catch up ...
I have several blog posts to write, but I'm too damn knackered. I was away at the weekend, yesterday I wasn't well, and today I've been entertaining my cousin's 8.5 month old. I can remember my cousin as a baby, and looking after her; so when I'm presented with offspring its like The Years Whizz By A Bit Too Fast. Now I've been encouraged to go to Cardiff to play "nanny" because apparently I'm very good at it. Sometimes I just prefer to stare babies out. Either that, or fall over pushing a pram with bruises taking weeks to heal. Better still you can hand them back, ah!
"Come to Cardiff, you can look after him!"
"I will hire you as my nanny!"
"Please call in next time you're there!"
"Alison you are very good with babies".
I suspect collusion. A perfect symphony to start off the, "I wish she would hurry up and get married" comments. Le sigh. See, internet. I survived yet another family torture whatever you want to call it.
In the meantime, be content with a picture of Socks:

My carrots are growing!:

And the Kitten is still missing.
Bye!

Its not your fault! Am just totally glad James didn't get harmed and you can be sure I won't do it again. Interesting, my left leg took the brunt of that fall (although it was my right ankle that got twisted). Bruise only went last week.
btw was talking to my uncle about you yesterday, and that conversation we had on ecosystems having rights plus mentioned the research you did. He wanted to know more, and I wished I could have beamed you straight into the room. (My uncle's background is geography).
And you also need to tell me about Italy.
