Thomas Edward BUMFORD 1900-1946

Welcome to my family history website, which is very much a work in progress. As well as trying to figure out who's who; I'm trying to gain a broader social history of my ancestors and extended family.

The roots of my famly is largely from Wales plus Worcester. I am also interested in migration to the North American continent. However, these are my main research interests are (Chapman Codes used):

WOR: BRYAN (Worcester), NUTTING (Bromsgrove)

SAL: BRYAN (Bridgnorth)

GLA: BRYAN (Newent)

GLA: WILDE, REES, PLUMBER

Migration: EVANS/JONES Ohio, USA (1850); ASHTON / POWELL, Iowa, USA; NUTTING, Pennsylvania (1894); WILLIAMS, Canada (1926).

In addition, I am trying to undertake a one parish study (see here). I also have an interest in Deaf History - I really want to know what happened to this person.

Most Wanted - I am looking for information about these ancestors. Can you help?

28 Dec 2010 - Now up to date with database upgrades plus I've added new content within the last month. I still need to back up all entries with sources, which will be done this winter.

11 Nov 2010 - Finally managed to get this site looking a bit more respectable again. One more upgrade and I can focus on bringing my content up to speed.
